Naab Data Processing Group at the World Communications Day Ceremony

The ceremony to commemorate World Communications Day was held at Iranian Space Research Institute here in Tehran on May 17, 2025. The high-ranking national officials and ICT companies were invited to the ceremony. The CEO of Naab Data Processing Group, Reza Mahdian, was among others who appeared there.

The big event attracted officials as well. Dr. Masoud Pezhakian, the President, accompanied by Seyyed Sattar Hashemi, the minister of Communications and Information Technology paid a visit too.

The event paved the way for examining the strategies for the development of communications and information technology in Iran.

Besides, there was another exhibition focusing on the capacities of private companies for implementing national projects based on public-private partnerships (PPP) in the ICT and digital economy. Naab Data Processing Group was one of the actors shinning there.

On day one, Naab Data Processing Group, a player in telecommunications, water, electricity, and gas industry introduced its specialites to Dr. Seyed Sattar Hashemi, the minister of CIT while he was visiting the pavilions.

On the second day, Dr. Vahid Yazdanian, the secretary of the World Communications Day event exchanged views with private sector actors, including the CEO of Naab Data Processing Group. They discussed the strategies for putting the slogan of the year “Investment for Production” into effect in the field of ICT.

The campaign was a valuable opportunity for recongizing innovative solutions on CIT and it also highlighted the role of the private sector in developing the industry.
